(Firstly, I am resending this e-mail, because I have sent it previously
without being subscribed to the help mailing group, I do apologise if this
was received twice)

Well, I have started to use tinyOS recently, but as I am being supported
by my lecturer, I already have The Professional Developer's Kit, for
studying purposes.
I have studied the nesC language for a while, and I wanted to transfer my
programs to the motes, so I could test them. However, when I try to
execute the make mica2 install command (with the right parameters, I am
sure about this), I get this error message:
'Programmer is not responding.
make: ** [program] Erro 2'
I am using a MIB510 programming board, and it is correctly connected to
the computer. When I give this command, its red led starts to blink, but
nothing happens apart from that.

I am currenty running tinyOS under linux. Before giving these commands, I
gave this one: 'java net.tinyos.tools.Listen -comm
serial@/dev/ttyS0:mica2', in order to listen the serialport. However, when
I type in "motelist", a message returns saying that there were no devices
found.
Do I have to take any other step in order to make it work? I just cannot
connect to the mote.

The TestSerial test application just sends packets when it is runned
(through the 'java TestSerial' command), without receiving any at all.

Hoping to read from you soon,
Fernando.
