Hi all
Thanks all for your earlier support. As I had witten in my previous mail
that I am facing two problems in programming Msp430 of TI board.First was
that our mote was not getting recognised by host system and second was
that, though we were able to load the code using flash programmer but board
did not respond anything.
I am trying to findout why is that code
not showing anything on the board and for this I am looking at the boot
process of tinyos. I found that for few platforms like micaz,telosb and
iris; some files have been written in TOSBoot
folder(\opt\tinyos-2.x\tos\lib\TOSBoot) and there also one hardware.h file
has been written for different platforms and content of that 'hardware.h' is
slightly different from the one found in
\opt\tinyos-2.x\tos\platforms\platform_name. For micaz they have initialized
some port's DIR and OUT etc with some hex value.Actually I did not get the
interpretation of those values. Please suggest me somthing if anyone has any
idea about what is the significance of initialization of port's DIR,OUT,IN
etc with some values. From where will I get information about the values
with which I have to initialize the port DIR etc..
