1. Open a terminal and write: sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
2. paste this at the end: deb http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu
 karmic main


really should be:

2. paste this at the end: deb http://tinyos.stanford.edu/tinyos/dists/ubuntu
 hardy main
