Hi, I had a similar problem. In my case:
make iris install mib520,/dev/ttyUSB0 java TestSerial -comm serial@/dev/ttyUSB1:iris Note the difference 0 and 1 in /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1. I hope this helps.
