You can also visit Z1 wiki page at http://zolertia.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page, Z1 mote has backward compability with the TelosB / TmoteSky motes and also provides lot of documentation and ready-to-use examples using TinyOS. Good luck deciding, Antonio.
