TOSSIM is intended mostly as a debugging tool, not a tool for evaluation. Results purely from TOSSIM without validation on real networks are basically useless, and I think it's good to keep it that way. Let's not revisit the wireless ns2 research mistakes of the past decade. There are enough large, publicly available testbeds out there that there's no excuse for not using one.
