Hi,

Please also post your replies to the mailing-list so that others can
follow the thread if they ever come across the same issue.

And did you install the extension pack as well ? If you did not
install it, try this first. You can find the extension pack for the
4.0.4 here: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_4_0 >>
"VirtualBox 4.0.4 Extension Pack All Platforms" and follow the
installation guide here:
http://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html#intro-installing

You can then enable USB support in the virtual machine configuration
and, if you want your USB device to be attached automatically, define
a filter for it in the USB configuration section of the virtual
machine. If you do not define a filter, your device will not attach
automatically to your virtual machine but you can do it manually on
the "USB plug icon" on the bottom right corner of your running virtual
image.

If you still don't manage to get USB on your VirtualBox, I think you
should ask on other lists or forums. This is not a TinyOS specific
issue and you will find more specialists on the appropriate lists.
