Hi all,

This morning the tinyos repository on sourceforge was finally imported.
SourceForge will host our CVS repository, a bunch of forums (developers,
users, etc.), the releases of tinyos, etc.

In order to use this new repository, visit
http://sourceforge.net

and register as a developer. Once you have your sourceforge login, you can
email that to me, and I will add you to the project developer list.

For the ISI and UCLA folks: please let me know whether you'd like to
designate anyone from your groups as the repository adminitrator.

CVS checkout instructions:
once you have your SourceForge login, you can checkout the CVS repository
by doing the following (from a BASH shell):

export CVS_RSH=ssh
export [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/tinyos
cvs co tos

That will download the tinyos code, and a bunch of PC utilities for
interfacting/visualizing the networks. Most of you have seen these apps,
but it is useful to have access to them.

I'm hoping that this form of hosting will enable more people to contribute
directly to the tinyos development. Please note that SourceForge hosts
TinyOS as an open source project; you should double check whether anything
you're checking in contains proprietory information.

Rob
