Diagrams of our weatherproof enclosures can be found in the "System
Evolution" chapter of my masters thesis:

A lot of your other questions may be answered by this paper too.

Subject: [Tinyos-help] Sensors for soil moisture,weatherproofing and
data loggers

We are trying to use the motes for a couple of field trials and have a
few questions;

[1] What solutions exist for weatherproofing the motes - once you encase

the motes - how do you expose the sensors to outside conditions.
[2] Are there any solutions for sensors measuring soil moisture that
would be compatible with the motes.
[3] What data logging solutions have people used with the motes? We were

thinking of using a cheap PC which works OK for sites located close
enough to a building but this would not be ideal for remote areas - has
anyone used standard data logging equipment?

I appreciate any help with this.

David
