Kristin, On the Mica2 support page, it would be GREAT if you could provide links to the Linux version of the AVRTOOLS RPMs at: http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/avr-libc/snapshots/
For Linux users it is necessary that they (a) upgrade to the latest AVR tools from the page above and (b) rebuild the NesC compiler from scratch (including the patched avr-as included in the nescc tree). This isn't obvious from the web pages.
