In the beginning of the TestSnooze.nc component is this warning:

 * IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!
 * NOTE: The Snooze component will ONLY work on the Mica platform with
 * nodes that have the diode bypass to the battery. If you do not know what
 * this is, check http://webs.cs.berkeley.edu/tos/hardware/diode_html.html
 * That page also has information for how to install the diode.

Subject: [Tinyos-users] Snooze for Mica 128

The TestSnooze code in TinyOS 1.0 release doesn't work with Mica 128. It
seems to have to do with disabling the boost converter in
tos/platform/mica/SnoozeC.nc. After commenting that line, the code works
fine. However, without disabling the boost converter, will the power
consumption be higher? Any work-around?

Thanks!

Rong
