Hello,
I'm new to the list - apologies in advance for the beginner question.

I'm  running on WindowsXP on a IBM Thinkpad model T30 and have administrator rights on this machine --  and have a first-timer issues:

A)  After installing TinyOS v1 and running:   perl TOSCHECK  from C:\tinyos-1.x\tools
It reports the normal path information but at the end stated:  WARNING:  No usip in current path
Is this normal?   I can see the PATH & CLASSPATH environment variables were successfully updated
(per installation docs) so I'm wondering why the complaint about uisp not being in the path?

B)  When attempting my 1st make of the BLINK program (in directory:  C:\tinyos-1.x\apps\Blink)
        typing:   make pc
      I receive the error:
mkdir: cannot create directory 'build/pc': no such file or directory
            make:  *** [build/pc] error 1

Why is make trying to create a unix forward-slash directory?  is this the reason for the failure ?  or did something in  the initial tinyOS setup not install correctly?   Any help troubleshooting this?

Thanks in advance,    Dave
