See any of the digital sensor drivers (such as IntersemaLower.nc or
TempHum.nc) in the sensorboards/micawb(dot) directory for various
digital protocols used from the ATmega processor.  Whether you use the
basicsb or a custom sensorboard with digital sensors is irrelevant to
the implementation.
