I need to understand some thing about RSSI.
CC1000 detect value from -50 dBm to (about) -110 dBm. With Trasmit Power set
to 0 Mica2 work at 1 mW (0 dBm). At this power and at 0.5 m two mica2 (on
floor) start reading meanig value.
So I have a doubt.
Already once Polastre told that CC1000 output power is not the real output
power measured at the antenna but if RSSI is a real value I miss about 20
dBm from radio chip to antenna (20 on RX and 20 on TX) that are a lot. If it
is not a real value why use RSSI formula when is enuoght the Vrssi?

Second question (again). I still saw difference in reading RSSI (and also
beetween MICA2) when I turn off mote for long. Anyone else? Does anyone know
why? It's only for the bad accuracy of CC1000 (+ or - 6 dBm)?

Thank in advance for every answer.
Alan
