Hello All, I was wondering if I could get some comments and suggestions from the list members.
Is it possible, and does it make sense, to use Tinyos motes in a STAR topology network, where each node ONLY communicates with the master node/station ? I am basically looking for a sensor platform to build a traditional STAR network where each node will come up (boot up), start capturing and reporting data back to the base station. No communication is to occur between the nodes. Tinyos seems very appealing but is it possible to use Tinyos in a NON-mesh network ? Any comments or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
