Hi,
I saw an email regarding the Surge application and even I never see any multihop transmission when I run the application on TinyViz.
I have a couple of more questions:
When I start the Surge application in TinyViz, the nodes initially send Broadcast messages including the Base station (node 0). Only after some time, the nodes start sending a packet to the Base station directly. Are the initial broadcast messages including that of the Base station's, used for collecting Route information at the nodes? - After sometime into the simulation, all the nodes including the Base station again start sending Broadcast messages. Is this also a part of maintaining route info at the sensor nodes?
- In the SurgeM.nc file, there is a BCast.receive function but when I set the DBG=usr2 command on, I never see the function being called ever. Whats the purpose of this function.
