Hi, Is there any good reason as to why the fuse bits are set on every upload of a new program using uisp? I mean, isn't it enough to do this once and then leave them set as they are?
I remember we had a discussion at some time back about "dead" atmels but can't recall all the datails. I managed to "revive" dead atmels using an external signal to reset the correct clock source if things went wrong. But I guess this is something that happens infrequently to a standard user, or am I wrong?
