CALL FOR PARTICIPATION 4th International Workshop on Wearable & Implantable Body Sensor Networks (BSN 2007)
RWTH Aachen University, Germany March 26-28, 2007 http://bsn2007.rwth-aachen.de Jointly organized by RWTH Aachen University and Philips Research Europe-Aachen Sponsored by IEEE EMB, IFMBE, VDE DGBMT ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Dates: Early registration rate expires after February 23 On-line registration will be suspended after March 19 http://bsn2007.rwth-aachen.de/registration.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please join us at RWTH Aachen, March 26-28 for the 4th International Workshop on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks (BSN 2007). The progression of sensor networks onto wearable platforms and implantable electronics promises radical changes for applications ranging from healthcare to human-computer interfaces. BSN 2007 is a unique event that assembles diverse talent from the many fields necessary to drive this vision forward. The papers presented at BSN 2007 by leading scientists from computing, bio-technology, engineering and medicine address general issues related to on-body and in-body sensors. They discuss the latest technical developments and highlight novel applications of body-sensor networks in clinical settings, at home and on-the-move. Topics covered include new medical measurements, smart bio-sensing textiles, low-power wireless networking, system integration, medical signal processing, multi-sensor data fusion, and on-going standardization activities. Tutorials will be offered on March 26 that cover cuffless continuous blood pressure, wearable textile-based sensor systems, BSN development platforms, and reliability in light-weight medical monitoring platforms. As tutorial space is limited, we suggest that you sign up for these sessions early. The entire technical program encompassing four tutorials, 47 papers and seven keynotes is published on the BSN 2007 website. BSN 2007 is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from academia and industry worldwide and to discuss the newest developments in the above mentioned fields. Registration can be made through the website of BSN 2007. The regular conference fee is Euro 300 / 400 (early bird / late) and Euro 150 for students. Thanks for your attention, and look forward to seeing you all at BSN 2007 in Aachen! Thomas Falck BSN 2007 Conference Co-chair
