@luke: patch has been ack'd upstream by liam (main developer of UCM), see http://mailman.alsa-project.org/pipermail/alsa- devel/2011-March/037842.html. is that good enough for inclusion in natty? we definitely need this for pandaboard, and that was tested by TI on panda.
