Hi Hong,
Sorry for the delayed response.
TIPC 1.5.12 (on Vxworks 6.3) supports:
* Reliable communication - note that SOCK_DGRAM is unreliable by default.
- one can change the delivery options for any socket
* Redundant transport links - up to two redundant links between any two
nodes
- note that the changeover code (in the event of one link going down)
can potentially lose messages if the two links switch states before all
messages are re-transmitted on the other link.

Hi Hong,
VxWorks 6.3 ships with TIPC (version 1.5.11).
You can always download TIPC 1.5.12 for VxWorks from
http://tipc.sourceforge.net/ to upgrade (click on "download").
I hope this helps.
The kernel mode supports Sockets in VxWorks.
Elmer

Hi,
I wonder if TIPC is supported under VxWorks 6.3 kernel mode. If so, which
version of TIPC does?
Thanks.
