That is indeed good news. I worked a little with SAF myself some time ago, and I clearly saw the potential advantages of using TIPC there. Personally, I think it could be used in more SAF services. It would be nice if you could give us some feedback about your experiences. Were there things missing? Things that should have been done differently? Have you identified missing features that would make it suitable for use in other services? (Windows/Solaris/Mac port? Globally synchronized multicast?)
