It has been reported that young children even as early as toddlers have the speech accents of their moms. The conclusion is that the developping child is sensitive to the speech of their moms while in the pre-natal environment.This would seem to favor Skinner in the debate with Chomsky. Here is a thought to ponder- would this be noticeable in the case of vitro fertilization? And is this one for Chomsky?
