The State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for a tenure track position in Human Computer Interaction.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in the program, directing student projects, and conducting research in HCI. Teaching load will include courses with significant project-based software development components. Java is the preferred software development tool at SUNY Oswego. Qualifications: Applicants should be experienced individuals who can contribute to the development of this interdisciplinary graduate program. A Ph.D. in Psychology, Computer Science, or related fields is strongly preferred. ABDs and candidates with strong background experience may be considered. Applicants must have experience in software design and development for human computer interfaces; working knowledge of Java is preferred.
