Yes I agree Beth. Although it has been awhile since that last time I have seen either the old or updated versions, I thought these were high quality works, very useful for classes in a variety of disciplines.
Also, if "causality" is imputed it is not a major part of the message...certainly it is not nearly as strongly imputed in SKUS as in it is in the video "Merchants of Cool" which (is very good) and was recent touted on this very list. Advertising does shape our visions of what our lives are and should be like. This is not an unscientific or spurious claim.
