I am in the process of making a little web page listing tactics that students can use to raise their exam scores when they don't really know the correct answer to a question (and techniques test writers can use to remove such sources of error in test scores) -- as an example, answer options that are longer than the others are likely to be correct answers.  A first draft of the page is at http://core.ecu.edu/psyc/wuenschk/TestTips.htm.  I would appreciate hearing about any other tactics that Tipsters have encountered.
