While fundamentalists may believe wholeheartedly in promoting their
belief system, they would be ironically behaving immorally in doing "whatever 
is necessary" to promote their ideology.

Note the bible verse in my signature.  The Christian is admonished
to be ready with an answer -- that doesn't mean s/he has to give
it when it hasn't been asked.  

And the gentleness and respect is clearly left out of some fundie 
machinations, no question.
