This is unfortunately belated, but perhaps not too belated. The US PBS network showed _Scientific American Frontiers_ last night, and featured Phineas Gage and his amazing disappearing brains. I taped it but didn't have a chance to watch it yet.
The good news is (in our area at least, but possibly elsewhere) it repeats later in the week.
