The Department of Psychology, Minnesota State University, Mankato invites applications for three Assistant Professor appointments beginning August, 2003.  All positions require evidence of potential for high quality teaching, advising, and research.  Ability to use instructional technology in teaching is desirable.   Attention to gender, race and ethnicity in course materials considered.   

1)  Neuropsychology/Cognitive Neuroscience - tenure track:  Ph.D. in psychology or neuroscience with a strong concentration in psychology required.  Teaching responsibilities include neuropsychology, biopsychology, sensation and perception, general psychology, and possible other areas such as abnormal psychology, memory and cognition, experimental psychology and statistics.  Search committee chair is Douglas Wallen ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).   

2)  Social Psychology - tenure track:  Ph.D. in social psychology with training in experimental psychology and statistics required.  Teaching responsibilities include:  social psychology, experimental psychology, statistics, general psychology and possible other areas such as personality, group psychology and attitudes.  Search committee chair is Rosemary Krawczyk ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).   

3)  Cross Cultural Psychology - one year fixed term:  Teaching responsibilities include:  cross cultural psychology, personality, general psychology and possible other areas such as history of psychology and in area of interest.  Search committee chair is Barry Ries ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
