Those Duckman fans out there might recall this episode, which had a lot of psychology references.

I don't recall specifics, but I seem to remember that X-Files had the occasional reference to things like False Memory Syndrome, perhaps things like the roles of the hippocampus in memory and the amygdala in emotions.
