I like the Barnum effect idea. 

Here is one that would go over like a lead balloon with school administrators:
provide the students with the research evidence -- or lack of research evidence-
-regarding the efficacy of DARE !?!

More seriously, how about some perceptual illusion stuff? I think they can go 
for that.
