But, will you inform them of the relevant probabilities of both of those outcomes? :)  
Given the popularity of the lottery and the probability illiteracy of most, it might 
not make a difference.

Ah, but what if your research participants were also told:

"You may also be given the opportunity to perform before millions of
people, with the possibility of becoming famous, admired, and very,
very rich. As well, numerous young and attractive people, of the sex
of your choice, may make themselves sexually available to you."

Hey, I might even sign up for a study like that.
