Actually, we already do teach socialist and communist economic systems in
our courses. And learning about socialist political structures is part of
the work done in most global strategy courses at the MBA level anyway (in
addition to undergraduate courses in psychology and sociology, I teach
graduate courses in business and Information Technology).

On the other hand, teaching about the systems doesn't require us to teach
that they are as good of economic options (particularly communism) as are
other options such as a free-market economy. Unlike creationism, we don't
have to give equal time or favorable treatment to those topics.
