An acquaintance of mine has pointed out that the list refers to
_Origin of the Species_, a tellingly incorrect rendition of Darwin's
title.

Also telling is that the list compilers couldn't seem to find a slot
for _The Protocols of the Elders of Zion_, not even among the
runners-up.
