A student asked me a question for which I do not have an answer. 

"If an object comes towards the eyes, there will be a reflex of shutting
the eyes, and even maybe moving the head. What is the neural pathway for
such a reflex? "

It seems counter-intuitive that the pathway would go to the spinal cord
(as fir the arc reflex), since the brain is actually closer to the eyes.
