Yes, but the drugs in question were apparently beta-blockers, flunarizine, or valproic acid--not the more current first-line drugs like sumatriptan (Imitrex) or rizatriptan (Maxalt). A comparison of acupuncture versus those drugs would have been interesting. The study itself is still nowhere to be found at the _Lancet Neurology_ website, to which my institution has full access.
