Well, I do think the role of child-rearing in determining adult personality, at 
least within the 
normal range of possibilities, has been pretty well demolished by behaviour 
genetics. It's sort 
of like "evolution is a fact as well as a theory", and I'm pretty well 
incorrigible on that as well. 

Still, I guess I'm willing to be corriged, if someone comes up with something 
really 
convincing. But I doubt that anyone will.
