Hi

No universities should not discriminate.  But as the place where
teachers are educated, they should certainly be examining why schools
are failing to educate young boys, and gender composition of teachers in
elementary and secondary schools might be a factor in that.  I suspect a
number of factors associated with contemporary teaching could be
contributing factors.
