It appears that Kansas is one of those states that buddies up with
the use of punishment.Authorities in Wichita,Kansas have given
permission to use taser guns on misbehaving High school students.
This brings back memories of Lovaas at KU in Lawrence who used
electric shocks as a means of extinguishing behavior in autistic kids.
Was Kansas the place where the term "behavioral engineering" emanated?
I got my Masters from Wichita State and it appeared that there was
lots
of behavioral mod proponents and theorists in the KU-KSU area.
I know that Albert Bandura is from that area.
