Please realize that many of us found your dialogue an interesting and edifying thread. This listserv is witness to various heated debates between folks not in agreement. You guys have no need to apologize as I feel certain you encouraged many of us to consider our own perspectives on the impact of religion, sexual values, etc. These topics aren't tangential (or tengential) to our lives. I hope that one purpose of this listserv is to allow and, in fact, to encourage folks to voice your perspectives openly. Remember, if some folks aren't interested, there's always the delete key.
