POSITION: Psychology, assistant professor (tenure track)
APPLICATION
DEADLINE: Review of applications will begin on December 15, 2006 and continue until the position is filled.
SALARY RANGE: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

APPOINTMENT: August, 2007
RESPONSIBILITIES: The position requires teaching in research methods and design, statistics, general psychology and possible other courses needed to support the major. Incorporation of diversity issues in coursework and the use of instructional technology to support teaching are also required. All faculty are expected to demonstrate effective teaching, scholarly activity, continuing preparation, commitment to student advising, and service to the University.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in psychology with some advanced training in experimental psychology and statistics.
Demonstrated potential for strong teaching.
Demonstrated potential to carry out research.
Demonstrated potential for advising and collaboration with diverse students.
Ability to incorporate issues of gender, race, ethnicity, and disability in course materials.
Ability to use instructional technology in support of teaching.
