You're missing the point, Chris. This assumption is held only by those
who claim that you are what your family makes you.

And by anyone who thinks that this case speaks to Judy Harris's ideas. Consider, if the assumption were incorrect (i.e., if sexual orientation is not a mtter of "teaching"), then the whole question of who taught what to whom is moot.
