I have done this Deb, but it has been a while. I had the students interview faculty as to their influences and also gave them campus info/resources to check out earlier faculty and dev. of the department. The faculty were not all equally interested in having students pester them about their academic lineage as I recall, but the students enjoyed it. You can also see if the class results seems matched with the psych curricula and the current culture of the dept. Gary
