Not what you're looking for, but of possible interest is a recent article
in LA Weekly I found quite absorbing. It's an account of a family moving
into a house in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, and finding a suitcase of
clippings belonging to the parents of a woman who was brought up there
and who died at Jonestown.

(I happened to stay in Silver Lake for a short period a few years ago,
but had no idea of the unusual history of the neighbourhood. I wish I
had).
