That confused me as well. Thanks for clarifying, Jim. I have an
undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) from McGill, and I'm not happy to share my
alma mater with someone who promotes these and other quack ideas.

Dr. Rona's professional vita can be examined at
http://www.mydoctor.ca/user/ASP/about.asp?id=2509 and see also
http://www.writersunion.ca/ww_profile.asp?mem=1139&L=0%29.

Both show his commitment to alternative medicine and "natural healing".

As for the deadly nature of distilled water drinking, I tried Googling on
"death" and "distilled water" and "drinking". I got 62,000 hits, and
almost all of the highest ranked seem to be from or about Dr. Rona.
Similar searches produced the same result. How does he do that?

On the other hand, if I do the same search in PubMed, the enormous
publication database of the National Library of Medicine (USA), I get
exactly...two. Both appear to be accidental, as neither has anything to
do with the supposed danger of drinking distilled water.

But why bother with evidence?
