How does one measure the stress levels of stressful events? For example, the
so called life-stress events inventory
places job loss way up there, but it would seem to me that with our current
economic crisis stress for Joe six-pack
would be very different cognitively and otherwise from an Assistant Prof who
has been laid off.
It is easy to measure brain chemical levels but to quantify the levels of
environmental factoctors necessary for
an interactional effect would be more challenging.
Send me something before I sink into a depression.I do remain optimistic.
