Malcolm G,the author of Outliers,brought to my attention that despite all that hoopla about the Beatles as probably the best rock group that ever existed for their creative songs did not get that reputation easily.He mentioned that the the Beatles worked their ass off as a house band in a sleazy joint in Hamburg,Germany,working 8 hours a day,7 days a week ,for almost two years. So the idea that those guys just popped out of Liverpool taking the U.S by storm failed the mention the extensive practice they undertook. The lesson to be learned from this is that practice and cantinuous practice is a key to creativity and success and to acheive efficacy and competence.
