Grades are based on performance on tests and other delineated specified
measures of the instructor. We measure performane in class and although some
will contend that performance indicates learningI would not bet on this all the
time. One can still learn even though the performance is measurable. We have
teachers' evaluations but we do not have "learning" evaluation because it will
be difficult to measure that.Ironically a student wfo might say that "I learnt
about that in psychology" does not nexcessarily imply that the student has
learned.I suspect that just being in the classroom and listening and
participating the student learns.Maybe constructing a Learning evaluation form
and asking students to fill it out
at the end of the course could be a beginning.
