I'm sending this query out to TIPS in hopes of the excellent feedback that
is typically provided by this fine group of folks.
I can use about $500 of dept. $ for travel to a conference this summer or
next year as long as that conference is designed to help improve teaching
effectiveness. (I might be able to scrape up more money, like my own :)
).
I've been interested in learning more about how to teach critical thinking
and do group work in large classes of intro psychology. Our sections
range from 65-100 students.
Can you direct me to an organization, conference, other source that
would give me some choices or opportunities for such?
