 I disagree.  PowerPoint is a publication and the format for its citation is
 on page 221-222 of the APA Publication Manual (1994).  The computer,
 however, is hardware and should be treated as apparatus.  The citation
would
 read as follows:

 PowerPoint 97 [Computer software]. (1996).  Redmond, WA:  Microsoft
 Corporation.

 Although PowerPoint may be bundled with Microsoft Office, it is an
 individual software title.
