Hi Robert T. Herdegen III,

It may be a bit late but you may be able to sort your problem out by
getting one other Stats package called Statistica.
http://www.statsoftinc.com/
It is as good as SPSS and the graphics are one of the best I have
come across as far as statistics graphics is concerned.

I have no connection with either company. I just use both and I
(and my students are) am using the Statistica more and more.
I know that the SPSS is the sort of standard package for statistics
but the Statistica is catching very fast.

Bye for now.
Jorge.
